We are an online academic editing company. We edit for academics, postgraduates and students worldwide. We edit books, journal articles, conference papers, theses, essays, assignments and all types of academic documents. All our editors are PhD qualified and have been academic editors for over 10 years.

The target audience
Academics and postgraduates (PhD, Masters and Honours students) primarily in western countries like Australia, but also in Asia and other countries worldwide.
Our clients are highly educated, discerning individuals.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like logos that are unique and memorable. We like logos that are related to the type of business (i.e. we don't like logos that are totally abstract).
We don't want our logo to have a quill, feather or magnifying glass in it.
We need our new logo to match the design of our new website, which I have uploaded here. The picture is of the new home page and it currently shows our old logo. We need our new logo to be much better than that one!
It does need to be serious and professional, but it should also seem positive and friendly.
The colours should match the colours on the new home page. Light blue, navy blue and green are our preferences. Maybe some grey.

We don't want a logo that just uses the E or EE as a symbol, and we don't want a symbol that is completely abstract (like just a random shape or something that doesn't mean anything). What I mean is, we would like a logo that allows people to immediately identify us with either 'editing' or 'academic'.
The logo should be clean and clear, but it should also have a 'wow' factor; it should have a design that is very visually appealing.
**Please check the jpeg of the home page so you can see the space that the logo has to fit in. As you can see, our current logo is in more of a square shape. We need the new logo to be in a square shape as well (like with the picture up the top or down the bottom of 'Elite Editing', or with the 'Elite' on top of the 'Editing') so it will fit in that space. The long logos that people are designing, with the picture on the left of the 'Elite Editing' won't fit in that space. Also, please note the logo will be on a white background.**
**Please note that the final version of the logo that we choose will need to have the small 'TM' mark up the top on the right. We would also like to get another version with the little R in the circle, for when our trademark is registered.**
