I am a jewelry designer specializing in one of a kind pieces. Each piece of jewelry is sketched by hand and is also entirely handcrafted. The pieces are very upscale and artistic. I use a lot of colored stones and intricate gold work in each of the designs, so the logo should not be too eccentric because I want it to go with different styles that I make.

Our target audience is both retail and wholesale. We will be selling items retail on our website in the near future. We will also continue to design for/sell to retail jewelry stores. Our target customer is the self-purchasing woman, typically independent and between 30-50 years of age with an above average income. We also make a lower price point silver line with multi-color enameling that would speak to a little bit younger age group. The type of person who would purchase this would be the same as previously stated, only younger.

The first thing to note is that the “Co” in Lloyd & Co is not short for “company”. “Co” is the Chinese last name of the designer’s wife. Please feel free to play around with the ampersand (&) if you have other ideas. We are looking for a design that is not stuffy or representative of the old school jewelry industry. We are a young, contemporary company designing jewelry for customers on two continents. We appreciate the look of a classicly styled logo but would like a bit of tweaking to make it represent our unique outlook on the business. We are open to font and would like our design to work on both a black and/or white background.
