What we do
THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY A LOGO ASSIGNMENT: WE ARE OPEN TO TYPE AND TYPE TREATMENTS
Forget wine bars. They're stuffy, don't have very good food, and usually rip you off. ABV is the anti-wine bar wine bar, where the wines are easy to understand, they're affordable, and no snobbery--just a really cool neighborhood joint to hang out at.
This isn't to say we don't take wine seriously. We do. We will feature over 20 different wines by the glass and countless bottles to choose from. Our wines will be mostly organic and hard-to-find from small producers.
Our food will be local and all made from scratch; hearty dishes that are familiar, cool, and inventive.
ABV stands for alcohol by volume and is usually displayed with a % sign. As in, 5.8% abv.
Think about using the percent symbol in a unique way.
Please do not use wine glasses, wine barrels, corkscrews, or anything that you literally need to drink wine in your executions. The only way these designs will be considered is if it's the elements are used symbolically or abstractly.

The target audience
21 - 40 year old people who like wine, homemade, exceptional foods, and like to hang out at cool neighborhood places.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like things that are old looking and lightly distressed. NO GRUNGE, please.
Unless it's really cool, avoid the use of grapes, wine bottles, wine glasses etc.
We're pretty much open to anything otherwise.
