Name On Logo: kiyoso
Our Slogan
kill your software, enter the cloud
What we do
kiyoso.com is a startup company. We show small business how to replace their on premise software, with solutions that run in the cloud. We will provide services which enable this shift, including migration, change management, business justification, unified billing, and single sign on.
We will build a community of small business owners who embrace the cloud computing model, and become the epicenter of this move to the cloud.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Disruption
2. Innovation
3. Simplicity
The target audience
Our audience is small businesses, across all verticals, English speaking, who have a high speed internet connection at work, and are already using some form of software as a service or cloud computing.
They are pre-disposed to embrace new technologies, and want their IT to get out of the way of them running their business. They want their technology to be better, faster and cheaper, and kiyoso helps them to transition to these technologies without fear.
We like these fonts, colors and style
In particular, the logo should incorporate the 3D look, and shadows can enhance that look.
We would like for the slogan or tagline to be incorporated into the logo.
One thought that resonated to us was the use of devils horns on the first O in kiyoso, and a halo above the second O, in kiyoso. This graphic ties in with the tagline, 'kill your software, enter the cloud'. So, the first part of the tagline encourages small business owners to get rid of or 'kill' their existing software. In our experience, this is very disruptive, and sometimes the person pushing for this change can be viewed as 'the devil', or at least 'evil' for what might seem like a change that is making some peoples lives more difficult, at least in the near term. What we also find, is that in short order, the benefits of the saas/cloud application outweigh the initial pain, and the person implementing the change is viewed as a 'saint' or 'angel'. We would like to convey this meaning in the logo. Maybe you could use a 'skull and cross bones' in the first O instead of the devils horns?
Please refer to the images uploaded for clarification.
Use your imaginations, please! We are open to new ideas!
We like bold colors, ones that make the viewer think of our top three qualities of disruption, innovation and simplicity. We particularly like Blue and Yellow and Red. One thought is to use the Red for the horns, Yellow for the halo, and Blue for the kiyoso text?
