The target audience
Men and Women 18+ who enjoy the outdoors (sports, hiking, etc) and traveling the world, and who also enjoy getting a good deal on quality products and airfare needed for those activities.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I kind of like the fonts and style of the logo I currently use on the website (onclickdeals.com), and I'm more or less looking for an icon that can be incorporated with the current onClickdeals logo and tagline or ones similar too them (I'm open to fresh ideas, but I don't care for super bubbly fonts as I don't think they exude simplicity, quality or coolness).
I'd like a unique icon that can stand alone as the profile pic on social media sites like twitter and facebook, but that also goes together nicely with the website name (which can either be onclickdeals or onclickdeals.com) and tagline (travel and outdoor bargains, or one similar) for use in square and rectangular banner ads.
It would be nice if the icon could somehow incorporate what the site is about, travel and outdoor deals, as the name onclickdeals, is fairly generic sounding. Maybe a symbol that represents the outdoors and or traveling along with the word deal/s or a symbol that represents saving money. Something that lets the person know at a glance that the site is about travel and outdoor deals, while still looking fresh and cool with an air of quality. Onclickdeals.com promotes genuine, high quality electronics, travel, and outdoor gear (not 3rd rate knockoffs and imitations), and I'd like the logo to reflect that.
I know what I like, but I'm not sure what I want. May the best logo win :)
