We are a firearms retailer focusing on home and self defense but also providing guns for hunting and recreation. Focusing on arming first time gun buyers but accommodating without sacrifice the seasoned gun owner.
We want to emphasis the tactical nature of our company and the desire to give the best customer service at the best prices.

The target audience
Demographics would be mostly male of all ages who are typically but not always conservative in politics However I DO NOT WANT TO ALIENATE THOSE WHO THINK DIFFERENTLY. Mostly Male audience All ages
We like these fonts, colors and style
Olive drab, tan, black, gray, silver, red, white, blue, yellow
something that will look good from a distance on a back lite sign and something that will look good on a letter head or tee shirt. I want to stress the idea of this countries founding principles of freedom and self reliance focusing on the second amendment.
Possibly a slogan like "Security for a free state"
I like the colors used by magpul co. although I am not sure of their functionality on a sign. I also like the Idea of a modern flag or shield design like some of the recent design contests for other firearm companies. Also think of the gadsten flag or the culpeper flag as well to get you the spirit.
see our current logo at tdrfirearms.com that we do not like I included some other companies designs I like. Please keep in mind the need for versatility of the logo and the main need of being in a rectangle back lite sign box.

Another thing that came to mind is the possibility of adding a bobcat or a Lynx or bird of prey silhouette to the sign.
here is a flight patch with a harrier hawk my business partner likes. Its just an example not exactly what we want.
