What we do
Our Mission is to help individuals affected by chromosome 1p36 abnormalities overcome the obstacles they face to be able to lead healthy, happy and productive lives. We do this by providing support and education to their families and increasing awareness of chromosome 1p36 abnormalities in the public and medical community.

The target audience
Our target audience are families and caregivers that are affected by 1p36 Deletion Syndrome as well as the medical community who deal with individuals that have 1p36 Deletion Syndrome. We want our logo to be synonymous with the syndrome. All ages, walks of life and socio-economic status.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are open to any style or design. It needs to look professional, yet also give a sense of warmth and support. We don't have our mind set on any specific colors. 1p36 deletion syndrome is a genetic disorder and it would be nice to see that in the logo, possibly with a DNA double helix or a picture of the 1st chromosome? In individuals with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome they are missing a part of their 1st chromosome. It might be interesting to see that somehow incorporated into the logo. The fact that there is something missing.
