Great Food to You Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Great Food to You
Our Slogan
Your restaurant favorites delivered!
What we do
We are a multi-restaurant marketing, online ordering pickup and delivery service.

Growth plans may include online grocery ordering/delivery as well as package store (liquor, beer and wine) delivery.
Industry: Restaurant

Things to communicate through the design
1. Convenience of delivery
2. Quality of Food
3. Service/Professional, Progressive approach

The target audience
Median to higher income families and single professionals for residential delivery. Ages 30-55+ looking for the convenience of delivery vs. dining out.
Professional office employees for individual lunch service or group meetings for breakfast or lunch.
Health care settings, shut-ins, new babies, etc.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Looking for somewhat of a progressive, perhaps a bit abstract, clean, simple design with not too many detailed elements. I like the new "digital" look of web 2.0 icons...I think! Since a large part of our service offering is delivery, it would be nice if it could incorporate "movement".

Some elements might include spoon/fork/knife (any combo), a plate, napkin, eating (licking fingers?), food items, wheels (steering or tires...delivery). I would like NOT to use a "chef" or "chef's hat" element. As for color, something that stimulates the appetite...red?, open to suggestions. I do like more muted, natural tones, even when using primary colors.

If possible, I would like the tagline to be separable from the rest of the logo.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Designers: Thank you to everyone for submitting your entries. I am humbled by the incredible talent shown. It is so exciting to see our vision for our company coming together in this creative form.

While each design is of interest, we have notated those that have elements that are particularly appealing. No particular ranking...too difficult at this point! The only "trend" I can see in our choices is that the "covered plate" does NOT seem to be a favorite. Not completely ruled out though!

Thank you all again! We look forward to the process.

Designers:

Thanks again for all of your time and talent in your submissions. This is a very unique and exciting process as a new business owner!

Just wanted to share some general thoughts on the designs. It seems an emphasis on the word "Food" is a good idea. After all, "food" and "delivery" are what we do. Thanks for nudging us along on that! Also, we like the ability to have a piece of the design as a "thumbprint", an icon without words, that has the ability to stand alone if needed.

Also, we did not indicate, but the variable use of upper/lower case letters in both the name and the tagline seems interesting. Please don't feel you have to use it as we indicated in the original guidelines.

Curiousity...no entries using the "licking fingers" or "licking lips" elements....hmmmm?!!

Thanks to all again!
