What we do
This is a non profit cancer fundraising cycling and running team. This is a part of the LiveStrong Challenge Series for cancer research and fundraising. We are looking for a logo to attach to emails, cycling and running jerseys or our webpage.

Things to communicate through the design
1. We ride and run to fight cancer.
2. LiveStrong is a Texas based org.
3. We are a simple but strong organization.
The target audience
The Lama comes from the Dalia Lama that my father is a fan of because of the Caddyshack scene with Bill Murray.
We will use this on our website to draw people to make donations, but mostly it will end up on our jerseys and workout shirts. Most of our group is 30-45 years old and active adults with a desire to see cancer eliminated.

The logo, Truly simple is better. I always liked the Heineken star and somehow would envision a Red Star inside of a heavy Red circle to simulate a bike crank and Team Lama printed in Red below it. That is what I would create and simple is better but we will see what you guys develop. Black and Yellow is a key color to LiveStrong but we can venture outside of this.

So far a lot of great ideas. Please know that if you think of something more creative than my suggested Star idea, please toss it into the mix. Maybe I was just too conservative in my first thoughts. There are a lot of great ideas out there so please shoot for the stars if you like.
