Name On Logo: Localnet
Our Slogan
Integrated Delivery
What we do
Lobbying industry and government to develop an integrated transport, collection and delivery service to and from our homes. Learning from what the shipping container did for long-haul bulk transport and the internet has done for data transport - we want to stop the madness of dozens of different delivery trucks visiting each street every day to drop off one or two items when a properly designed service could deliver and collect everything - including ourselves and our kids.
The service would use standardized, reusable containers (some the size of large cereal boxes, others the size of grocery boxes) delivered via electric vehicles that can act as both delivery vans and minibuses - hence carrying different mixes of boxes and people at different times of the day.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Stuff is delivered and collected from home in boxes
2. The service gives people a better quality of life
3. It's extremely eco-friendly
The target audience
Needs to appeal to the general public as it's their support we need to convince businesses and politicians with vested interests in the current mish-mash of local delivery, collection and transport services.
Certainly needs to appeal to the "green", eco-friendly types who should be natural supporters.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Please note our website's current palette of light and dark cream + light and dark green. rgb(255,241,208), (232,207,152), (31,163,69) and (0,111,69). Would prefer to stick with this palette but prepared to be blown away by alternatives.
Think we may want "localnet" all lower case.
If possible include ".org.uk" to point people at the right website.
If sticking with current palette, may need two variants - one that works on the green banner and one for white or cream background.
Our design will be used on

While trying to make the word part of the graphic is neat, I'd prefer a logo where the graphic element also works on its own, without the name. So that even if we have to change the name in future, we'd be able to keep using the graphic and hence get some continuity.
