The name Cotton Tree comes from a famous tree in the Capital City of Freetown, in Sierra Leone, West Africa. It's where the founder is from. It's a huge baobab tree that has been there since the 1700's. Check the link above. It demonstrates deep roots in Africa and a huge blossom which connects to the global north - developed world. This tree image is about wisdom and strength( the knowledge about philanthropy which is our business). I would like to see it incorporated in the design if it works. Earthy tones would work. Not to serious but recognizable. The full name is long so I'm not too sure about too heavy typed face. It definitely needs to communicate some African-esque feel to it.
