Teacher Computer Services Logo Design Contest

What we do
I have found a local niche in working with those who, often older, are afraid of computers, but want to get connected. I have all the certifications to do repair, but as a long-time teacher I love "demystifying" computers for beginners. I helped a senior the other day shop for and buy a computer, then tutored them as to how to use it. I never get tired of teaching basics and the best compliment I ever got was "you don't make me feel stupid." How to best convey this through a logo is my goal. No intimidation. Warm one-on-one service. Slogan/Tagline is optional if you hit the mark with the logo.
Industry: Technology

Things to communicate through the design
1. Making computers understandable
2. Your own "computer guy"
3. Personalized service at your level of computing

The target audience
So far I've had the best success with the over 50 group who didn't grow up with computers. They've heard that they can keep up with the grandkids better online, or listen to local sports radio when they travel, etc. Their families are often putting pressure on them to have email so they can share pictures often, but they are afraid they'll break a computer. I've had great success via word of mouth so far and my clients rave about how these computer things aren't as scary as they thought.

We like these fonts, colors and style
I have no clue. A designer might know what print or visual effects would attract the early baby boomers born in the 1940's to 1960's.

I'm guessing that it should de-emphasize the techie aspects and stress the beginner computer stuff.
