Our company will sell spicy snack foods on
[Login to view URL] (under development). The website is CURRENTLY the above address, however the company will be Heat Monkey, LLC that will be a line of spices, rubs, sauces and primarily spicy foods. I would like a logo that includes a mascot of sorts.

The target audience
My target audience would be geared towards men due to men being 2/3rds of the market for hot sauce and spicy food consumers. The typical hot sauce consumer is between 30 and 45, makes 80k a year and rides a motorcycle. Funny and true, I know.
We like these fonts, colors and style
The logo should be strong yet cartoonish, not angry but serious, will make for a good twitter background as well as website header. I'm a fan of monkeys, especialy those that like hot sauce. A part of the logo will be used for category links on the site. The winner will include a background image that incorporates the logo and logo is easily trimmed to create links for categories.
