What we do
Shop Translated is an on-line clothing boutique for plus size women. Our mission is to offer fashion forward designs to plus size women at affordable prices both domestic & international. Our objective is to invite plus size women to the world of fashion & style, where they can look and feel confident and beautiful.

The target audience
We are looking for a recognizable, modern, contemporary, fashion forward logo, as our targeted customer is a women between the ages of 21-49. We want to be recognized as an international plus size store/brand, so the logo can have Asian / European influences. Logo can be a play on words with “Translated” and with languages / being international. Please make it easy to read for all marketing purposes. Please do not add our slogan in the logo design. Think of words like “curve, balance, beauty, bodacious, passionate, acceptance, strong”
What we don’t want:
a) Don’t want - an obvious plus size silhouette in the logo, but it can be subliminal.
b) Don’t want - too street, urban styled.
c) Don’t want - the colors/styling to be too girlie (nothing like pink/black or pink/white).
Logo uses: Everything commercial and promotional for the company/brand – print, web, media, clothing labels. Logo will be on clothing tags, online branding and all other associated collateral.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Font: needs to be one that can easily be read on hangtags, shopping bags, and websites. Logo will be used on all al promotional materials.
Color: No more than 2-3 colors, and needs to read in black and white as well. We have been using Orange & Grey – but are really open to anything. Please - just nothing to girlie like PINK with BLACK or WHITE.
Inspiration: The attached is a compilation of logos/colors we were drawn to. The first 5 are for color, the next 7 are for style.
