What we do
Laughing Mallard is web forum for reptile enthusiasts with an edgey, anything goes mentality. You need thick skin and quick wit to survive this community. A majority of interaction is laced with hysterical wit and abusive, yet friendly, comments. Friends treat each other worse than enemies solely for amusement.
Reptiles are what bring us together and how we recruit new members.

The target audience
The target audience are reptile enthusiasts who tend to have a unique personality. Most people will be 18-35 with some who are older. Not much education, like to drink/party and can be described as anywhere from a hillbilly/white trash to a professional. This is where the professionals let their hair down.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Clean, sharp, crisp, edgey.

Please make sure the "logo" can stand alone for use in marketing. There is also a high inclination in the reptile industry for people to tattoo themselves with some of the most interesting and creative logos! Make it good.
I would like to make sure we use both the Mallard and Reptile in the theme of the logo. This could mean a duck with scales, a duck and a reptile together or a morphed version of the two.
Please don't make this a cartooney logo, these are adults with a sick twisted sense of humor, not children.
