We like these fonts, colors and style
Some designs we like: mint.com; icebrrg.com; beanstalkapp.com; hicksdesign.co.uk (their work in general); shopify.com and delibarapp.com. In general, we like simple designs where design follows function; large sans serif fonts; blue, orange and green; circles more than squares; shades; gradients and the style of web 2.0.

We could imagine simplified sneakers dangling from shoestrings, stopwatches, barplots/charts or a running track being incorporated in the logo, perhaps entwined with simple typography (see sites mentioned above). Ideally, the logo would incorporate the word trackrecord (eg. for a web banner), but would also have 'stand alone' qualities (eg. for favicon).

Finally: *None* of the above is a must - we are open to any design that appeals.

Our design will be used on
(Web)

Thanks many for your submissions. A couple of thoughts from our side:

The service trackrecord provides is less about measuring (as in
stopwatch) and more about the proper evaluation and digest of
measurements made (think of an athletic CV); we think that a barplot or a graph (perhaps incorporated into the trackrecord font) may convey that message better than a stopwatch. We are less interested in a logo that incorporates all disciplines of triathlon (as thats a bit generic); something slightly more comic-like (as in icebrrg.com) may be interesting as well as something that involves mirrored text or logo, shadows and gradients.

All that said, we are still open for any out-of-the-box idea (that do
not incorporate suggestions made above).
