We are open to seeing what each designer has to offer. We would prefer a horizontal logo with the tag line I.T Solutions under the logo with a graphic or icon integrated into the overall concept. We don't want anything cartoon like and even through our company has the word Safari in it, we would prefer to stay away from a jungle/safari theme.

Hello and thank you for participating in our logo contest.

After seeing 50 or so submissions, a few issues have come up that I wanted to address.

First off there seems to be a wow factor with many of the submission, they lack a cool and unique graphic and the fonts are often a little unconventional.

Also as far a colors are concerned, I think utilizing greens, blacks and some blue is a good start. We're not against other colors but the use of orange as a primary color likely will be work for us.

Initially we said don't go Safari or Jungle, but if there is a way to do it tastefully, we would be open to seeing what you have in mind and immediately provide feedback.

We do want to keep the logo horizontal, so the large logo above the Safari Micro might not be the way to go, keeping it to the left or right makes more sense for us.

In the past we've used a rhino our logo, if you wanted to play around with the rhino idea that would be OK, just make sure it's not cartoon like. We want a more professional look than we have an this logo contest is the first step a complete re branding for Safari which will include a new website, stationary, shirts, promotional items, etc.
