Our Slogan
revolutionizing what you wear based on why you wear it
What we do
Dedicated to creating products that work to keep you warm, dry, and stoked; from the park to the backcountry. We continue to supply the ski and snowboard community across North America with the innovative facewear needed to make the most of their next powder day. Matarik was formed by a skier and snowboarder with an obsession for fresh tracks. During the winter of 2009 in Mammoth Lakes, California we had designed and tested our products in the harshest and best conditions El Niño had to offer. The end product was the perfect combination of breathability, style, and functionality. Now residing in Bellingham, WA we continue to develop, and distribute our technical products in hopes of making the next big dump that much better.

The target audience
men and women between the ages of 18-30 with an adventurous drive, and enjoy the outdoors no matter what mother nature gives you. My customer base is youthful and into any action sport that supplies them with enough adrenaline. The magazines they read include: Freeskier, Transworld Snowboarding, Snowboarder Magazine, Powder Magazine, Snowboard Magazine, fuel TV and grind TV. Our customers demand a combination of performance and style in the gear they use on the deepest powder days and the warmest spring days. To our customers it is all about having a good time no matter what the conditions. Their income levels vary from low (ski bum) to high (professional athletes). This is an industry where everyone is trying to look and ride their best. In a crowd of our customers it would be difficult to pick out the professional athletes from the posers. Our customers live in both major cities and in mountainous regions but no matter what their geographic location they will be on the hill when that cold front from Alaska brings three to five feet of fresh snow to their local resort.

NOTE: we are not so much interested in a combination mark of logotype/wordmark. We are interested in an ICONIC/SYMBOLIC style of logo. We are also looking for a logo with an emphasis on "integration".
