The main focus of my business is creative portraiture, combining everything I love about fashion and advertising photography and incorporating that into photos of the general public. I take edgy but very clean photos in terms of lighting. I also photograph about 10 weddings per year.

We like these fonts, colors and style
I want a very clean logo that will work on both black and white backgrounds (but geared more towards a black background). It will be against a black background for web and print (business cards, marketing products, etc), and against a white background for contracts and invoicing.
If possible I'd like to combine NE (doesn't have to be caps) in a creative manner as part of the logo, but not totally necessary if other ideas come in to play. Additionally, if a part of the logo can be used as a favicon that would be a bonus.
I DON'T want anything cartoonish, or to do with clip art or aperture blades/camera bodies on the logo.

ENTERING THE FINAL DAY OF ENTRIES: I'd like to see some designs that veer away from whats already been submitted. Get crazy, do whatever :)
The 2 most important factors in the logo design:
1) That some part of the logo would work well as a watermark, meaning it can stand alone and represent something that says Nathan Elson Photography.
2) That the logo would work on both black as well as white backgrounds.
Also, when designing, think "edgy, sexy, fashion" as that's the look I'm going for.
