Career and/& Life Choices
What we do
True You offers services to help people discover their true passion, values, gifts. This work is based on the premise that if we can articulate those things that really matter to us we can then create an authentic path and an action plan to support this. I offer individual and group sessions; in person and via phone/tele-classes; online resources will also be available to clients.
Clients range from corporate execs to women returning to the work force, to teenagers. True You provides a structure and resources to make it easy for people to identify and clarify:
Who am I?
Where do I want to go?
How do I get there?
Clients may be motivated to come because they are unhappy in their work; they may feel 'there must be something more', perhaps they're out of work and finding it hard to get a job; they may be a school leaver and be undecided about their career choices.
Whatever their situation it's True You's role to support them with a structure to draw out the answers and help them create a path of authenticity and joy.
Please note this competition was originally posted around three days ago unfortunately it ran into a technical issue - it had been up just a couple of days and there were some designs I really liked! Please please re-submit! I don't have your names but really liked the one that was orange and blue with a wave/ribbon of blue running through it - you emphasised the You. Also the first logo that was put up was going to be ranked well. And there are others I like so do re-submit!

We like these fonts, colors and style
The premise I base my work on is that each of us has a unique blueprint within us, just like an acorn we each have this unique code , many of us go through periods in our lives when we feel disconnected from this essence. True You helps people connect with their unique essence so that they are freer to live lives that are authentic and meaningful to them. This work may help them find the job they've been looking for or encourage them to simply re-balance their lives to make more time for the things they truly love. Basically , True You helps clients connect with their authentic heart's path then assist them create a plan to follow that trail!
- I like simplicity and clean lines - the 2nd place winner of Harbour Lights (restaurant category on this site did a nice job I thought. I like simple yet effective movement in lines - clients are setting off on a journey so movement in line is good ....
- Along with simplicity I like an organic feel (see Spiritual Copy fist place winner - under consulting category on this site)
- Colours - love colour both soft and bold. There were some lovely blue and orange designs; and blue and green designs submitted in the original competition (which apparently crashed somehow - ahhhh!!). really open to colour so please don't limit yourselves!
- Prefer emphasis to be on the True rather than You
- I want people to feel safe and confident. A lot of clients will come from corporate environments so the logo has to work for that environment yet not be stilted.
- True You needs to be confident, warm yet not new-agey.
- I don't like flowery designs yet like some flowing movement with line; in the designs that were previously submitted some had subtle stylised hearts (it wasn't immediately obvious it was a heart/part of a heart) and that worked well - needs to be subtle though otherwise the corporate market may be put off
Thank you for reading my rather long brief and I am really looking forward to seeing your designs! Watch out for feedback/rankings as I will do it daily. Michelle

I'm loving the process and reviewing the designs. Thanks so much. The blue/orange/yellow combos are great and i like them however I'm also keen to see some softer colours now and how they compare. I'm thinking of a soft pearly grey/beige stone colour/ sand colour with perhaps a blue/green contrast. Thinking of some of the softer hues in nature - imagining clean lines , simplicity. ....looking forward to your ideas ....!
