We're a resort hotel on East Grand Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan in Northern Michigan.

Things to communicate through the design
1. I just want a modernized remake but very similar look to our existing logo
2. Clean and crisp look with a better font
3. Maybe a more blue/gray coloring or something that goes well with the building
The target audience
Our audience is the vacation traveler of all age groups, but particularly families. I would like to hit well with business "bleisure" travelers, too!
We like these fonts, colors and style
See the existing logo at northshoreinn.net and I would like a modern update to it. The existing logo is owned by the association, which we now manage. They don't have the original file, and we're now the management to update and secure their interests better for the future.
We're open to all designs. They do have a road sign that is very similar to existing logo that we may update in the future, but, for now, I would like to have a modern update of the existing logo.
