Things to communicate through the design
1. Castle and Cask events are in an actual castle.
2. Castle and Cask events involve beverages and spirits aged in casks/barrels.
3. That these events will be enjoyable.
The target audience
We're primarily aiming at individuals who enjoy Scotch, bourbon or beer, whether they be novices or connoisseurs. These individuals will typically be someone in their late twenties to early sixties. The demographic is expected to lean more towards male, but is not exclusively so. Our core clientele tends to have a bit more discretionary income, and is willing/able to spend it on leisure/hobby/travel activities.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like fairly clean and simple designs, nothing too terribly busy. I have attached four images. One is the logo of Ravenwood Castle, one is a sketch of the castle itself and one is the castle's crest. The final is for reference only, and is an example of the type of casks these beverages might be aged in. We are open to all designs, but are particularly interested in seeing designs which incorporate either the castle sketch or the stylized castle from the logo, as well as one or more casks. Inclusion of our mascot the Raven is also fine, though not necessary. We would prefer not to have the entire Ravenwood Castle logo incorporated as is. The logo will likely be etched onto glassware and possibly burned onto wood, as well as being used in traditional print and on the web.
