What we do
Bloom General Contracting is a commercial building company, specializing in green, sustainable building projects. We are currently trying to better position the company for more work in the green building industry, and would like to re-design our logo to help with this effort.

The target audience
Target audience are clients looking to build commercial buildings, and specifically looking to embody energy efficient, green building techniques into the project. Our clients are typically business owners or large companies in a variety of industries, so the logo must exude professionalism.
We like these fonts, colors and style
The concept development of this project is to align our construction company with the green, sustainable building movement.
You must have General Contracting, Inc. included in the design.
I would like to see it as a small sub-line to the Bloom name. Our existing logo is attached, please see it as an example. You can do all-caps, like our existing logo, or present upper-case first letter, and lower case for the rest of the words.
I'd like the logo to be green in color, more preference towards light greens than a forest green too.

I am looking for a variety of design ideas. I'd like to see some simple designs that build off of our existing logo look, and others that are very different. Feel free to use different fonts, lines, etc for the design. I'd like to see some designs with a green leaf, but am also open to seeing designs with a logo accompanying the name that embodies green building. It can't be a simple house though, because that only looks right for residential builders. One idea I'd like to see is a design of a building sprouting up from roots. But, I do have a bigger taste in simplicity, and symmetry than complex logo's.

Please be sure to view our existing logo that has been uploaded to the contest brief. I want to add a line to the logo similar to the line that underscores our name in our existing logo. You can feel free to create a derivation of this line as well.
I like the logo symbols to the left of the BLOOM name. I also would like to see the logo symbol you create with a couple different styles of the BLOOM name in terms of font and color (shades of light green). Also, I still haven't seen too many designs without a logo, but simply with the BLOOM name and a strategically placed leaf. I'd like to see some of these as well.
