What we do
We are a private, non-profit, foundation fostering the establishment and development of Anglican churches (affiliates of ACNA, under DWGC) in Louisiana. ACNA is the Anglican Church of North America, a theologically-conservative province of Anglicanism adhering to foundational Christian doctrine. DWGC is ACNA's Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast, the governing authority for the churches that Foundation 39 will establish and develop. The name "Foundation 39" is derived from our attachment to the "Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion," which are historic foundational documents of doctrine and practices of the worldwide Anglican communion since the 16th century.
