Primary goal of the logo....
I currently have 2 pieces of my logo I would like to be integrated somehow and "enclosed". Not sure exactly how to explain what I mean but basically bordered so I can drop on any background color. Here are a few samples that illustrate what I mean...

Twister - Piece #1
This Twister needs to stay mostly intact since we have alot of t-shirts and other things already printed with it. It can be skewed, warped, angled, or whatever but it still needs to resemble the current twister.
Somethings I would like improved are... Better arm with some muscle. A couple of other options are a ball or a mitt, just ideas though, not important.
Text - Piece #2
This text graphic (attached) I came up with that I do like and want integrated with the twister graphic.
Colors...
For T-shirts and other things I can only have a background color plus 2 colors, no shading. For embroidery I can have more solid colors, for other things like Web and signs I can have multiple colors.
Background : Black
Primary: Red / Whites
Most important for this is the intergration of the 2 parts. This logo will primarily be used for uniforms, T-Shirts, signs, and the web.uis
