SteepyTime Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: SteepyTime
Our Slogan
Tea Time for Two
What we do
We sell loose leaf tea to pairs of people (couples, friends, parent & child, etc). SteepyTime celebrates the experience of enjoying a tea break with someone dear to you.
Industry: Retail

Things to communicate through the design
1. Quality product and quality time
2. Playful yet relaxing
3. Warm and inviting

The target audience
Tea drinkers of all ages who have someone to enjoy tea with (a child with their parent, two partners, friends, etc). People with busy schedules who appreciate taking the time for a pause.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We think the use of a rounded, bubbly sans-serif typeface would work to capture a playful feeling but we are also open to a retro font or a cursive.

The logo should be in color but must also read well in black and white. It should also scale well and be readable when displayed both small and large. The design should display well on both print and web.

Regarding color, we think a calming palette will work best. Soft earth tones and other colors found in nature/tea (tea leaves, herbal teas, etc).

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Sep 28, 2021
Thank you to all who have submitted entries so far! We are actively reviewing them and we appreciate the updated designs as well. We have uploaded some additional screenshots of concepts we'd like to explore. Screenshot #1 is the use of Cooper Black Std with "SteepyTime" stacked. The second screenshot is a sketch which illustrates each "e" in Steepy as a teacup. Thank you in advance for any updated or new submissions that explore this concept. This can also be seen somewhat in entries #42 and #43, but we think it would be best to have both "e" face the same way.

For additional information, we like the idea of incorporating the text into a cup as seen in submissions #18, 20, 54 and 55. We also think design #1 did a good job of capturing the concept of tea for two, but it read almost like a penguin and would prefer more of a formal tea look. Design #50 could also be onto something, where it is almost looking down into a two half cups of tea with each side being a handle. We would also prefer to move away from the clock concept, as we fear ticking clock does not have a calming connection.
