M50 is a comptetitive tennis team. It is a private team formed by the best tennis players in the country from 12 to 16 years old who will be competing in international tours all over the year. The main goal of the program is to develop the next mexican tennis players in the world´s top 50 of the ATP or WTA rankings.
Industry: Sports & Recreation
Things to communicate through the design
1. High performance/Competitive/Bold
2. Modern/sexy
3. Professionalism
The target audience
We will have 2 different targets:
1. tennis players & their families
Kids in Mexico from 12 to 16 years old (boys and girls) who play competitive tennis and plan to make a career of it. Their families typically enjoy a financially stable lifestyle and the occupations of their parents vary.
2. Sponsors
They are strong brands typically related to sports and wellness (Nike, Wilson, Gatorade, Mercedes Benz, etc) and who will be interested in associating their brands (and supporting) with a competitive junior tennis team
We like these fonts, colors and style
We love the style of brands like Nike (bold, minimalistic, inspiring) or the ATP (dynamic, minimalistic, modern). The logo should inspire competitiveness and professionalism. It should look great on clothes (hats, t shirts, hoodies, etc) but also on formal documents and advertising. Something optional is that the logo includes (very subtle) the colors of the mexican flag (green, white and red) but it is not mandatory. It would be a VERY nice to have only if it is subtle, minimalistic and sexy (maybe through a very thin stripe on the left side of the "M" featuring the 3 colors vertically?). We want the logo to look fierce and strong. We DON´T want the logo to look childish or fun. Another nice to have is if it includes a tennis element (tennis ball, tennis court or tennis racket) ONLY if it fits into the minimalistic, modern and bold style we are looking for.
In terms of colors we like black, silver, fluorescent green, fluorescent yellow
