Breaking Wind Airboat Rides Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Breaking Wind Airboat Rides
Our Slogan
breakingwindairboat.com
What we do
We will provide airboat rides. These boats are very common in the most southern states in the USA, espcially Florida. I'll include a picture of the boat we will use.

We will be focused on having safe and fun tours lasting from 30 minutes to as long as desired as a charter.

The boat is very powerful, loud and fast. All fine American values!
Industry: Sports & Recreation

Things to communicate through the design
1. Fun! Light on sophistication, heavy on
2. Readability at a distance--will be located on boat rudders
3. Speed and element of power and motion

The target audience
The logo should appeal to people looking or a fun family, couple or small group unique experience.

Again, it has to look fun--there is little room for sophistication and snootiness on this small open craft!

Looking for any age demographic, but the prerequisite qualities are a sense of humor, young at heart, adventureous types. Rides will not be cheap, however, so clients with disposable entertainment income are required.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Since the logo will be on the boat itself, it must work well with the color scheme of the boat itself, especially the rudders behind the engine were it will be prominently featured.

Also, since the best advertizing will be the boat itself as we are operating on the water, it must be readable as far away as possible--use of script lettering or lettering that is fine or frilly is probably not going to work. I'm thinking large, fat, energetic lettering.

Many of you in other countries may not appreciate the pun and self deprivating humor that the name of the company is. "Breaking Wind" though certainly describes the 200mph(322k/hr) really pokes fun at our company as this is slang for flatulance in the USA!! A humerous character possibly interacting with the "B" in breaking wind might be nice. Could the "B" look like a person's Butt?? Irreverent and fun I say!

I can also see using the logo as a tow-behind "arieal" billboard in the propeller wind like used to advertize behind aircraft, so a "horizontal" design would be preferable over a vertical design

Our design will be used on
