What we do
I'd like to have a design created for an iPhone app. The app is called "PsycExplorer". Here's what it does: PsycExplorer is an iphone app designed to help anyone keep up-to-date on the latest news, research, blog posts, videos and tweets in the field of psychology. PsycExplorer brings credible, up-to-date information from every field in psychology to you - wherever you go.

College students, life long learners, people who are curious about human behavior, people who love to learn
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like the idea of space, kind of sci-fi
While the app is educational/news oriented, I don't want it to appear dull or heavy. You can see the current logo here on iTunes:

It contains the concept of a compass, which is okay, but it doesn't convey the excitement, the fun of learning about something you are really interested in. That's what I want - the fun of exploring something you like.

One important thing I forgot to mention in the description: like all iphone apps, the logo (or some part of it) will have to look good at 57x57px.
