I am a financial planner. I specialize in insurance for life, sickness, disability and long term care needs. I also specialize in investments for retirement planning, short term savings and long term savings. I am concerned about my client's taxes, their need for income now, their need to pay down debt and their need for income in retirement. I essentially help my client achieve their DREAMS - Disability, Retirement, Education savings, Asset Allocation, Major purchases and Survivor income. More information at

The target audience
My target audience is a wife and husband ages 35 to 65. With 1-3 children. They own their own home, they both work, or sometimes the wife is a stay at home mom while kids are young. They have blue-collar jobs, they are involved in their community, they have their kids involved in clubs and sports. Their annual household income is $60,000 to $200,000. They each have a vehicle, they like to go on a vacation once every 1-2 years. And they are interested in protecting their families against life's most difficult hardships i.e. sickness, disability, death and retirement. They are intersted in a financial plan for their future and their kids future.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Along with logo, I will also be using my picture ( I have uploaded it). My picture does NOT have to be included in the logo, but it should look nice side by side. I was thinking the theme color would be in browns.
In addition, on my busines cards, website, letterhead, I have to have my Investment Firm logo as per compliance (DESJARDINS, also uploaded). So again, it should look nice with the Desjardins logo.
Clean lines and easy to read. I like if the JBD was the "logo" and then Financial Planning in the writing. I like a white background as my logo will be seen mostly on web and business cards.
I would like the logo to include the TagLine, but it can be easily removed.
Most financial planner's logos are boring and dry. I would like mine to stand out somewhat from the others, yet still remain that confident and successful image.
