What we do
Bardoppler.com is a bar rating system. It is like a yelp, but focuses solely on bars. We want to be hip/upbeat/and web2.0 (which means simple and clean).

Things to communicate through the design
1. Fun Web 2.0
2. Emphasize the doppler and bar portions of it, by utilizing bar/drink icons as well as integrating the radar aspect of the doppler portion
3. I'd like the colors to be blue/black/white... but would prefer an arrangement or ideas. The background on the site will likely be a dark royal blue/black gradientesque.
The target audience
Target audience will be male/females, ages 21-30. Frequent bars, are social media user extraodinaires, and very social and fun.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Some logos from current websites I like: zoosk.com, pando.com, basecamp.com (all 37signals.com logos), standpoint.com, podzinger.com, and shutterfly.com.
Basically very web 2.0 fonts, that are simple and clean.
Here are some little pieces of art/designs that I think could be useful:
Radar/doppler portions:

For the bar/drink component i like:
