Things to communicate through the design
1. Cutting edge/modern/professional--stylish/symbolic/colorful/calming (shades of blues/greens/oranges/yellows--see uploaded images of dragonflies and X chromosomes/telomeres); sense of the new/modern science/medicine entangled with traditional ways of heali
2. Simple . . . yet deeply, deeply profound and moving.
3. Gentleness, compassion and kindness combined with unyielding commitment/loyalty to our clients' self-directed goals for their own health, wellness and vitality
The target audience
I am a cash-only Functional and Integrative Medicine practice that intends to attract:
Adult Men and Women age 18-65+ regionally (Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa) and, potentially, nationally. These ideal clients are educated, are highly motivated to take action/make (serious and long-term) changes in lifestyle/nutrition/interpersonal relationships and are looking for support/guidance. These individuals of action place a high value on what I have to offer and have the (financial/economic) resources to pursue their short-, medium-, and long-term dreams/goals. They are:
1) Seeking to arrest and reverse chronic disease states/conditions (e.g., Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's Dementia, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Diabetes Mellitus, Depression, Chronic Fatigue/Lyme disease, Chronic Pain, etc.)
2) Not necessarily ill but desire to optimize and maintain wellness, happiness and vitality (i.e., longevity/anti-aging medicine)
3) Athletes who seek to achieve peak performance by matching genetic variants in enzymatic (biochemical) function with appropriate nutrition, by learning/using mind-body medicine and utilizing bioelectric/biomagnetic medicine to reduce the rate of injury and to hasten recovery from exertion; to build emotional, psychological, and physical endurance and resilience for a lifetime.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I am looking for an artist with creativity, resourcefulness and insight who will combine "Telos:" end, purpose, goal, aims, intentions with "Telomere:" sections of DNA located at the ends of our chromosomes that afford stability during multiple cycles of replication. Throughout much of the world, the dragonfly is a symbol of harmony, good luck and prosperity; adapted to water, land and air, it is agile, nimble and fierce.
I am particularly drawn to (stylized) Japanese Samurai dress/armor adorned with images of dragonflies to summon power, gracefulness, speed, agility and victory (see images).
This artist will combine the image of a dragonfly (wings) with that of the X chromosome, subtly highlighting the tips of the dragonfly wings to mimic/simulate the Telomeres at the ends/tips of the X chromosome.
The image is simple, powerful, modern, stylized and instantly recognizable with a bit of Japanese/Samurai simplicity and style. The logo/design will mature well along with the growth of my business. . . Think 22nd and 23rd Century Medicine informed and inspired by timeless and traditional approaches to health and wellness as inspired by the natural world: The human "X" Chromosome and Dragonfly (Wings). Please refer to uploaded images for some inspiration/ideas.
