What we do
Emerald green interiors is a personal interior design start-up aiming to work on high-end residential projects. Our main focus is on color consulting ( walls and fabrics) as many people are afraid of the use of colors. We will also help customers to source antic/vintage furniture to create highly individualized interiors reflecting the personality of their owners. Altough we work with rather classical interiors and furniture we try to achieve a fresh look trough the sometimes bold use of colors. The image we want to portray is that of color specialists, staying away from the "boring" neutrals palette (greys, browns, earth tones).
A quick note: altough I am currently based in Germany, the logo should have an international appeal since we live as expats and might relocate to different parts of the globe over the years

The target audience
Target group is middle to high income.
Age: 30-50
For the younger segment of the group, people who have modern/basic interiors (ikea type) and with the raise of their income whish to give a real personality to their interiors trough adding colors and vintage pieces.
For the older segment of the group,, people with rather classical interiors who are bored with them and wish to give them a new twist by the use of color.

Dear designers,
here are a couple of key points but there shouldn't be limiting you. If you have fantastic ideas please submit.
- the logo should be on white background
- it should use no more than 2 colors, one of them being emerald green since I wish to have business cards letterpressed. The 2nd color should be somewhat more neutral. (greyish muted tone)

- since focus of our work is on color i would love to use the symbol of the color wheel attached but in a monochromatic version. Any variations from that theme are more than welcome.
It's very graphic and would look great letterpressed
- logo should NOT represent the emerald gem or only in an abstract non recognizable way
- I am not a huge fan of baroque/swirly elements
As far as fonts maybe a mix of fonts (modern and classical) would do it to appeal to the 2 target groups. (as seen on logo Green and Gorgeous)
I like modern : Ganix Apec, Caviar Dreams, century gothic

That's about it. I am running a long contest and I'll give feedback on a daily base to avoid that you spend too much time working in the wrong direction.

As a reminder.
Logo should be only:
- on white background
- 2 colors only: 1st color MANDATORY emerald green (between HEX 058832 and HEX 006F39), 2nd color light green (HEX 9DCB40 to 006F39) or color medium grey (HEX 96949)
NO 3D designs, NO gradients
