The Small Business Development Center is creating this new program for individuals that speak Spanish looking to start a business. We will be providing training on how to setup your business, access to business consultants, resources and networking opportunities to help these startups begin their businesses. This program is meant to appeal to the Latin and Hispanic cultures and backgrounds but will not appeal to any one indsutry, product or service. Participants will have business ideas ranging from restaurants / food products, to services and retail products. This program will be offered at no cost to those who participate and will go over permitting/licenses, financials of starting a business, marketing and selling products/services.

The audience for the logo will be individuals who speak Spanish. Keeping in mind this would be open to individuals who may be from Latin America, Mexico, Spain etc. living in Southern California. The name of the program translated means "Business Dreams." The audience is coming into the program with an idea or existing business they want to improve, they're male/female and ranging in age.

COLORS/ STYLE - Please see the images for the designs we liked. We think EITHER the look with the pattern image 2 OR the look with the different stripes in variation of blue might look nice as seen in image 1. Style 1/ Image 1 - For the style with the blue stripes of different widths and hues - the hues can be different shades of blue and turqoiuse, but please make sure to use these codes in the design. CMYK Colors Blue: 100,89,34,25 Teal: 72,26,0,0 Style 2 / Image 2 *we like the look of the pattern incorporated with the below colors. CMYK Colors: Black - Standard Red: 12,100,73,2 Blue: 100,89,34,25 White: Standard White/Paper FONT - Akzidenz Font / Big Bold Letters Avenir Font DESIGN The last element we'd like to incorporate if possible is a shadow behind the words "Sueños" and "Negocio." We'd like to see some kind of creative illustration, very lightly depicted as a shadow (not competing with the main name) that says "Dueño" with a "D" as the first letter. You'll notice the words are spelled the same but with the exception of the first letter (Dueño means owner, so it also reads business owner/business dreams). It's important that the shadow doesn't compete with the rest of the design.
