The target audience
We want everyone old and young to look at our logo and know we are the best company for choosing eyewear. We want to feel like we've been around for 100 years and will be around for 100 more. Our emblem needs to be infinite.
We like these fonts, colors and style
New Notes: Take a look at the attachment I sent. I have added calipers and an old pair of glasses. if we can add these elements into a triangular element with "est 2020" it will show we're an optical shop and that we custom measure. This could be a cool and perfect touch.
I like Classic looking logos that might be a crest or gold leaf. Newer addition we want to run with is adding the established year of 2020 "est 2020" or "estd 2020". (perfect vision is 2020 and thats the year we're coming out so its too cool)

Colors: I like simple colors but whatever we do should be able to look good in black & white always. I will be doing gold leaf on business cards so don't lean too much on color.
Fonts: Scientific/Modern/Clean
Style: Intellectual/Abstract/Clean

Uploaded logos are for inspiration only and serve as a guide. I do not mind the use of "Optical" in the logo as we are an optical shop but that's at your discretion. Ideas: Molecule as eyeglasses, triangle circle square logo represents the different shapes of people's faces, fonts should be scientific, and X chromosome imagery would be cool for the X in Spexology
