What we do
Allies for Immigration Justice is a group of individuals dedicated to working with community organizations, faith groups, and concerned individuals in order to take action in support of immigrant communities.

The target audience
Community organizations and individuals concerned about the issue of immigration, and specifically to this region, the current humanitarian crisis at our country's (United States) southern border.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Someone started a logo for us and, after walking him through many changes, we still weren't completely satisfied, and he moved on. The idea we have may be too complicated to execute. We got it to a place where we like the designer's overall design in grayscale (see below), but couldn't get colors that really worked for us.
The first picture below was our inspiration for the logo. The second one, we like the 3 shades of gray, and the white outline but the arms were too stiff. The third one, we liked the lettering a lot, but wanted the slogan to be inside the circle in a different font. For the space where the slogan was, we wanted 2 different logos with our 2 locations printed in that space.
Color has been difficult because we want different skin colors represented on the arms/hands. If someone wants to see the colors that were tried already, we can supply those versions.
If this is too much information and too specific, that's fine. It's the direction we were heading but if someone is inspired to try something different, we're open. We are a little discouraged from the long process that it's been and ready to have a logo we are excited about!
We won't be doing billboards, but a good sized banner, yes!
