70% of our business comes from individuals who work in the electric utility industry. However, much of our new account growth is coming from individuals who have no connection the utility industry.
We have made the decision to keep the Powerco name but we want to remove attributes in the logo that infer that only employees of the power company can join our credit union. We think this can be done by removing the kite/key and adding other elements to the logo along with a a tagline.
As a financial institution our customer base ranges from very young to retired individuals. Our target audience for new business ranges in age from 20 to 45 years of age. We are currently working to establish Powerco as a community based credit union that serves all members of the community that we operate in.
We like these fonts, colors and style
There are many examples of banks and credit unions who use a combination of symbols/graphics and text in their logo. We are open to graphics being used as long as they have a purpose and convey something about our organization or the people that we serve.
We want to stay away from a trendy logo that could become obsolete or outdated.
We are open to designs that use our current color scheme as well as designs that use a totally different color scheme. No more than two colors please.
