Dj Bakspin is a multi format club dj, remixer, and turntablelist who is re-known for quality high energy performances and his ability to move the crowd with a style that emphasizes on, finesse, and the art of music presentation. DJ Bakspin is a taste maker that musically, and in an original fashion, combines elements of what is trendy, mainstream, and underground in his performance and product.Dj Bakspin's fans listen to a blend classic hip-hop and r&b, soul funk, house/electronica, pop and top-40/dance and independent label music, Reggae and dancehall, from all the generations to modern day but with an emphasis on the 80s and 90s hits. Anything from Rick James Depeche mode and Daft Punk to Jay-Z Kanye West, Run Dmc and Snoop Dogg. Nobody is left out of Dj Bakspins music selection

The target audience
Target Consumers are males and females between the ages of 18-35 in large metropolitan cities associated with trends, fashion, nightlife, and entertainment. (ei: Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Las Vegas)
They are anybody from the young, classy, entrepreneurial professional in the social spotlight who frequents bottle service V.I.P. nightclubs, To the hipster, torn jeans wearing, laid back college student, music connoisseur and hip-hop fanatic who frequents dive bars and music festivals. Typically the consumer is overall heavily influenced by what is seen and heard in Pop culture such as MTV, VH1 and commercial radio in their style of dress preference in music. They are liberal, new age, constantly text messaging, and social networking.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like different shades of grey on a white background, the font can be charcoal dark black and some how incorporate a light grey and 1-2 bright colors such as a deep red, light blue, orange or yellow shades as seen in the nike or ableton live logo. most importantly, i would like an oval shape in a light grey or shadow image that depicts a vinyl record spinning backwards incorporated into the font. hence the name "Bakspin". Please experiment with different fonts referencing the types found in the examples and your own best judgement on what you feel is appropriate. i prefer less is more over flashy. It should be simple straight to the point, and have an urban feel. please be creative and use this as a guide thanks and best of luck!
