What we do
Name on label: Charred Oak Bourbon

We are open to font style but would like it to be easy to read. Charred Oak Bourbon should be highly visible.

We are a small company that has a premium bourbon that is made for us by our favorite distiller.
Industry: Retail

Things to communicate through the design
1. Our brand
2. premium bourbon
3. 100 proof

The target audience
This is really not for a logo it is for a new fresher look for our bourbon label. We are looking to update the label to look like a premium brand while still holding on to our identity. We also want to elude to the bourbon and cigar lifestyle that got us started on this journey. The bourbon was designed for but not limited to the bourbon drinker who also enjoyed fine cigars. Maybe a more masculine label?

We are open to font style but would like it to be easy to read. Charred Oak Bourbon should be highly visible.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We are open to ideas. We want this new label to look classy but not over the top. We want it to be a label that you can't miss on the shelf.

I will attach images of our logo and current label so you can see what we have been working with to date.

Because it is an alcoholic beverage the label requirements are defined and must follow the government codes. We will supply the exact text and where it must be placed on the label. The label we have now will also show you where it needs to go.

With our logo tree we want to add one thing to it. Under the tree, as if it were a camp site we want a still and barrel under it making it look like someone is cooking alcohol under the tree. Prefer it to be line art like the tree.

Following is the text that MUST be on the front label:

1 - Charred Oak Bourbon
2 - Small Batch/Hand Crafted
3 - 50% abv/vol 100prf

Here is what must be on the back label:

1 - Government Warning: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.

2- Distilled from grain. Blended and bottled by Off the Clock Spirits, Fitchburg, WI

3 - Space for the bar code.

We have more awards but I think 2 is plenty.

If you have questions or need more information you can contact me per methods permitted by this website.
