What we do
The Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company was named after its founder Hugh S. Nesbitt. The Nesbitt's brand debuted in 1927, initially as part of the company's line of soda fountain-products. Nesbitt's began bottling Nesbitt's Orange in either 1938 or the following year, putting it in direct competition with established market-leader Orange Crush. Nesbitt's became the U.S. market leader of orange soda pop during the late 1940s and 1950s, with advertisements featuring a then unknown model named Marilyn Monroe and proclaiming itself to be the "Largest selling bottled orange drink in the world.”

The target audience
The Nesbitt’s line of sodas are enjoyed by a younger, mostly male, audience with a penchant for all things “hip” and stylish as well as an older generation who associate the brand with childhood memories and the good-old-days. Our new logo and packaging should appeal to established fans of the soda as well as potential consumers who favor competitors using innovative packaging and retro recipes with pure sugar.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We prefer to keep the font currently being used, but are open to new ideas. We’d like the colors and style to represent the brands timeless and bold taste, while giving a nod to the original bottle design and current trend for all things retro. Additionally, we need the packaging on the glass bottle, cane sugar Nesbitt’s to marry nicely with the plastic bottle, HFCS product.
