OSCAR Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: OSCAR
Our Slogan
Acronym for 'Open Software Configurable Analysis Radar'
What we do
OSCAR is a MOSA (Modular Open Systems Architecture) based radar system developed by IERUS for use by DoD and commercial customers for use in radar analysis measurements. OSCAR is intended to be a platform on which a customer can grow their radar measurement capabilities in the future by updating, upgrading, and enhancing the performance of their system as needed. The design is open, using non-proprietary hardware to ensure that a customer can always source parts to repair the system if needed.

As a company, IERUS Technologies focuses on high tech solutions in the areas of RF technologies, computational modeling and simulation, and systems analysis management. We support commercial and government customers in development of everything from software to aircraft to missiles and satellites.
Industry: Technology

Things to communicate through the design
1. Open Architecture
2. Adaptable to changing needs
3. Advanced Technology

The target audience
The audience includes engineers, program managers, and purchasers within the DoD and Commercial spaces who may not personally be familiar with the detailed phenomenology behind radar measurements. It is expected that that all of the audience will have some baseline idea of what goes into performing various radar measurements. It is also expected that the majority of the audience will be of a technical background and have been working in their field for several years.

We like these fonts, colors and style
IERUS corporate logos tend to lean on blues, whites, greys, and blacks. You can get an example of our overall corporate style at our website (www.ierustech.com). We have also run several previous contests that you may be able to gather context from, I will post links to these in a comment.

For this logo specifically, we are interested in something that may be a bit more busy than usual. This logo will primarily be used on the front panel of our hardware (see the service offered here as an example: [Login to view URL]). We would like it to be able to fill that panel, while not being 'broken' by the holes that must exist in the panel for switches, cable interfaces, LEDs, etc. We are uploading a drawing of the panel to give you an idea of the areas where holes will be put in the panel so you can try and adapt your design to be as little disrupted as possible. We also plan on having the graphic printed on the side of the case the hardware ships in.

Our design will be used on
