- We raise approx. $18k for charity through this event - it's run totally by volunteers
- Caterham is a small town in the South East of England - the town has a flag - artwork attached - the colours are green, white and yellow and there is a distinctive tree in the town centre which is represented on the flag
- Round Table is a club of men between the ages of 18-44 running events (on a voluntary basis) for the local community to raise money for local causes
- Round Table is a worldwide organisation - it is not religious and is non-discriminatory in any shape or form - the artwork of the organisation is attached - it depicts King Arthur's Round Table as a logo
- The date of the event changes each year, so we need a place on our new logo to indicate what date it takes place on each year
- We have had our existing logo for 6 years - I have attached the old logo
- the logo will be printed onto large posters which advertise the event in the area; onto beer mats; etched (in monochrome) onto the events' beer glasses; printed (in monochrome) onto the volunteers shirts for the event; used on the beer festival website and FB page etc.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Beer festival
2. Charity event organised by Caterham Round Table No.274
3. Date of the festival
The target audience
We'd like to target a demographic of 18 - 50 men and women who want to try a selection of different beers - we also sell cider and prosecco. This is a really fun community event and appeals to craft ale aficionados as much as locals who want to drop in to a community centre to see friends and have a couple of drinks with familiar faces.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We'd like to make the logo contemporary using the colours of the town flag, or incorporating some of its features.
Please bear in mind that the logo needs to work in monochrome as it will be printed on different coloured t-shirts and etched into beer glasses
We need a space to include the date for each years event - usually in November
We've included a logo of the Portland Beer Festival which we thought was simple and contemporary - we'd like our logo to be as modern and straightforward as this, please
Our design will be used on
