What we do
The physical “base” of the business is nutrient-rich plants (veggies, herbs, some fruits, etc) delivered to be grown by people who are suffering from micronutrient deficiency. Accompanying the physical planters (sturdy bags of dirt which can be grown in directly) is information about the effects of micronutrient deficiencies, what they are, and other ways they can be prevented alongside planting and eating the provided plants. Micronutrient deficiency for different people is determined based on a variety of inputs (gender/ age, region of residence, price of crops in different regions, budget) run through a linear programming model.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Physical product is all about plants and having a natural and sustainable source of nutrients
2. Education! Education is power and we plan on empowering people
3. We combine the power of plants (nature) with the power of technology

The target audience
While the business is targeted towards governments and non-profit funding organizations for capital, the logo should be more targeted towards the people. The people I think of as families and community members – I expect a higher level of buy-in from women and children as they are often the ones greatest affected by micronutrient deficiencies

- We need the end user to really trust us in order for the program to be successful – this should start with the logo
