What we do
Grow or Die helps people in mid-career to open new possibilities and take control of their future.
"Stop trying to make a living in the past.
We are living in the most technically advanced, rapidly changing global marketplace the world has ever seen. If you haven't noticed the drift of the marketplace, you've probably been working too hard.
Hard work, a positive work ethic and gained experience are not enough as computers take more jobs every day. To compete effectively in today's marketplace, we need to rethink how and why we work, where our focus is targetted, what competitive knowledge we're learning and how it's applied.
Grow or Die is dedicated to helping you survive and thrive in the 4th Industrial Revolution, where the value in the marketplace is shifting from ""doing"" to ""thinking"" while leveraging computers, the internet, and building strategic partnerships to open new possibilities and take control of your career, life, and future. "

Things to communicate through the design
1. A movement - people should feel proud to be part of something. Inspires hope, pride.
2. Slick, modern but vintage at the same time.
3. Inspirational - should illicit a strong feeling
The target audience
Our customers are intelligent, experienced professionals who have been working for a good number of years. 35-55 year olds who are not happy in their current job or career
They feel confused and disillusioned with their work situation. Despite all their hard work, maintaining a positive work ethic and acquired experience they put into their job, they have not been getting promoted, are missing opportunities or feel stuck or stagnant in a job/career they don't love.
People who work in industries which are shrinking
How they should feel when they see it (or wear it):
Impacted that there is another way
Their confusion and disillusionment is over
Makes you think twice
You're at a crossroads, there is a choice to make, the most important choice of your life
Now is the time to take action
We like these fonts, colors and style
I really like Jack White's Third Man Records Logo. I like the way it's flat, contemporary but slightly retro, can work on records, mugs, hats, virtually anything.
Makes you feel part of a "tribe"
My current website grow-or-die.com has a black and white theme. It might be a good idea to use black and white or ensure use of only black and one color.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Mugs & Tshirts)

Please note that the logo has to work for digital and social platforms, in addition, to look good as a browser favicon. So complicated structures and lines may not work well...
the logo also has to work horizontally, like on the top left of a web page (http://grow-or-die.com/) - so whatever you're designing, you need to account for this...
and remember.....simplicity, scalability, and concept will win!
IMPORTANT - the logo must work on its own, like a profile in square dimensions, but must also have a horizontal option..something that can work on my website top right. thanks!
