A Recipe for Food Business Success

SBDC "EATS" is a "Food Incubator and Acellerator Program" Essentially we provide clients that want to start a food-based business (restaurant, food product selling (e.g. dried pastas or packaged jams etc.), food trucks, food stands, meal prep etc. with 1) consulting 2)training from chefs and business experts 3) access to local networks where they can sell their food or become established at a physical location - all at no cost to them. This is a program paid for through tax dollars (hence ther ed,white and blue from our other logos). More: The EATS program is a food incubator program which fosters food industry entrepreneurship through education and training. The program offers business development support and professional experience from its leadership team to help startup and early stage food entrepreneurs launch their food products into the marketplace. The SBDC EATS Program focuses on four core areas to successfully incubate clients into business operators. These areas are: workshops and seminars, business and technical assistance, access to a home kitchen or a food processing space and access to the local food industry.

We want to target: Men and Women from different backgrounds and ethnicities, with a love of food, interested in style/design (food presentation), tasty flavors, "foodies," typically have very little time but always make time for food/cooking, Who we've already assisted: the age range we've helped is between 32-55, more women then men, lots of ethnic food like Vietnamese, Hispanic and different variations from Europe
