The target audience
The primary audience is middle-aged ex-rockers and/or business men who are big into music. The secondary audience is the parents of kids who are into rock and songwriting.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Go to Google and type "rock n roll logos" into Google images and you'll see tons of examples of the kind of kitsch I'm looking for.
The bold fonts and fire are all great, but KEEP IN MIND that the logo should be somewhat tongue-in-cheek, not taking itself so seriously.
I DON'T want a logo using rockets.
HOWEVER, I do think it would be great if you used a sort of geeky indie (rock n roll?) scientist or other scientific image(s) in the logo.
It should definitely have an in-your-face kind of feel, as if it's exploding at you, much like all of those aforementioned logos on Google.

Forgot to mention, do the logo on a BLACK BACKGROUND please! If you don't, we will just have to change it later.
