What we do
The Sublime Portal (TSP) is the primary expatriate social forum and organization in Turkey since 2008, with approximately 1000 members countrywide.
Significance of the name (important for the artwork): The name, Sublime Portal, comes from The Sublime Porte-- the name of the open court of the sultan in the times of the Ottoman Empire. It where the sultan recieved foreign ambassadors. It was an ancient Oriental practice to make the gates of kings' palaces places of assembly, hence the name Sublime Porte which is French for "Lofty Gate". Therefore, The Sublime Portal is a metaphorical gateway for “foreign ambassadors” (ie, expats) to the inner sanctum of Turkish living.
Currently there is no logo. There is no slogan. The name will not be part of the logo artwork. However, if you provide the company name The Sublime Portal in a font that complements the logo artwork well, that would give your logo design higher priority in our selection process.
We do not want white or red in the color palette. Blues are preferred. No Muslim symbols. No crescent and star. Ottoman symbols or other Turkish motif possible.
The logo should be easily implemented on web and print applications. It should be able to scale small and also reproduce well in black& white or grayscale.
