What we do
Galaxy Cares is a non profit that hosts events for individuals with disabilities and allows them to sell homemade goods, arts and crafts in order to create supplemental income for individuals who otherwise are unable to be employed due to their disability. In addition Galaxy Cares also raises money to fund art, music, and recreational classes for people with disabilities to participate in. This allows people with disabilities the ability to explore alternative vocational avenues. Traditional medical insurance only pays for occupational therapy,physical therapy, and speech therapy however the arts such as music therapy and art therapy are important for people's recovery and this organization will aim to fund those type of classes for people with disabilities.
