This program is for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and to educate and promote leadership among the Hispanic community. The Small Business Development Center provides participants with education, leadership training, access to business consultants, resources and networking opportunities to help these Spanish-speaking startups plan for business success. This program will be educating participants step by step on how to file their business license, project their income and expenses, access capital, negotiate their lease, attract clients, price their products as well as teach leadership topics to help empower participants to lead in their businesses and communities.

Skews female 30-44, Likely have a skill they'd like to turn into a business and join the program to learn how. These participants speak Spanish, but are living in SoCal, many of which may be immigrants from Spanish-speaking countries (Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Cuba, Guatemala and Columbia - among the most common countries of origin). Many have interests/skills in: cooking, sewing, computers, health and beauty.

The logo must use at least one of the colors below or a combination, but not any other colors not outlined here. CMYK Colors: Red: 12,100,73,2 Blue: 100,89,34,25 Grey: 0,0,0,30 White: Standard White/Paper For reference - the word "Emprendedor" in Spanish means "Entrepreneur" it's important to include the "@" in the word "Emprendedor@s" because we'd like to showcase that this program is NOT limited by gender and instead focused on entrepreneurship, leadership and empowerment. In the Spanish language many words denote gender e.g. emprendedor = male entrepreneur emprendedora = female entrepreneur The "@" symbol was included in the name to incorporate/interweave the "a" and the "o" as if they were placed on top of one another to form one letter. The tagline "Empoderamiento y Liderazgo" means = Empowerment and Leadership ** We'd love to see this logo communicate the Latin culture somehow, see "more details" below.

Since many of the participants join with all kinds of skills, it would be great to see some versions of logos that communicate some of the business types these entrepreneurs end up opening e.g. cooking - they open restaurants, tech = computers/technology, healthy and beauty = they open beauty salons, or become hairdressers/make up artists, open retail stores, juice bars, etc. Maybe some of the logos can show a few icons for some of these things artistically/ abstractly in the logo.
