What we do
The Billiard Congress of America, Billiard Education Foundation and Professional Billiard Instructors Association have come together to create a national coaching/instructional program accessible to youth nationwide. The program will provide support and training in cue sports within the context of a structured, on-going program. The program will enable students and their local coaches, if they exist, to form relationships with PBIA instructors, access training materials, receive individualized feedback assessing their progress and recommendations updating their training program based on their individual skill development progress. The program is focused on junior players who wish to make a significant commitment to developing their skills. It will be available to juniors at no cost for participation. Admission criteria shall be exclusive of physical ability, skill level or socio economic background.
PBIA instructors associated with this program do so as a service to the PBIA and in furtherment of the sport. No individual associated with this program will receive compensation for their participation. Furthermore, no instructor shall use this program for personal gain, either directly or indirectly.
All individuals participating in the oversight of this program will agree to participate in verified background checks on an annual basis.

The target audience
Junior pool players wishing to become highly competitive players at an international level.
Junior players are 19 years and younger. Most come from lower economic households.
Also want to appeal the quality of the instructors to their parents and coaches/instructors who may already be working with the kids.
